چکیده
The efficiency of Azadirachta indica (neem leaves) on the removal Pb(II) ions by adsorption from aqueous solution was investigated in this study. these leaves (without chemical or thermal treatment) for has not previously been reported. Batch experiments were performed to study effect particle size, pH, adsorbent dose, contact time, initial ion concentration, and temperature. maximum 93.5% achieved an original concentration 50 mg/L after 40 min, at pH 7, with 0.60 g dose. capacity recorded 39.7 mg/g. process also studied examining Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin isotherm, Dubinin–Radushkevich (D-R) isotherm models. results revealed that system follows pseudo-second-order model fitted Freundlich model. Several thermodynamic factors, namely, standard free energy (?G°), enthalpy (?H°), entropy (?S°) changes, calculated. demonstrated is a spontaneous, physical, exothermic process. surface area, pore volume particles measured presented using area analyzer (BET); morphology scanned scanning electron microscope technique (SEM); functional groups ?-FTIR.

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Preparation of Nanochitosan as an Effective Sorbent for the Removal of Copper Ions from Aqueous Solutions
The most important pollutants in wastewater are heavy metal ions. In this paper, the effects of various parameters such as pH, contact time, initial concentration, and temperature on the adsorption of Cu (II) by nanochitosan (NCS) was investigated in batch experiment. Nanochitosan was prepared based on ionic gelation and characterized by means of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR),...
